Service and Maintenance

​It is important that you have your stove regularly serviced to ensure that it burns well and efficiently. At Sparkling Flues we provide the following:

  • Sweep of flue to clear any debris
  • Visual integrity inspection of your appliance
  • Visual inspection that the installation meets current regulations ( Building Regulations 2010 Approved Document J )
  • Removal, cleaning and inspection of the fire bricks, baffle plate, grate and ash pan.  We will advise you if any replacements are required
  • Inspection of glass to establish if replacement is required 
  • Examine all fire cement seals from the stove to the flue and re-joint if required
  • Where applicable, adjusting and lubricating of moving parts
  • Inspect door seals 
  • Certification provided​​
As an additional service we can provide a full camera inspection of the flue.

Emma is very professional. She really does provide a "sparkling" service as my two fireplaces were vacuumed so thoroughly that they definitely looked cleaner than when she arrived. Fire is going a treat tonight, as a result of having a good sweep. I will be using her services again for certain. 👍🏻
